Pies Recognised at Scottish Craft Butchers Awards 2017

We added more to the Mearns T. McCaskie awards list following the Scottish Craft Butchers Awards 2017 in August.​

As usual, there was stiff competition from the fine butchers of Scotland in the Speciality Pie Awards, Mince Round Awards and Traditional Steak Pie Evaluation. After much tasting and pondering from the judges, Mearns T. McCaskie were delighted to be awarded a Silver Award for our Mince Round, a Gold Award for our Traditional Steak Pie which continues to be a huge favourite with our customers all over the UK and a Gold Award for our Steak, Chorizo and Red Wine Pie.
