This carefully boned leg of lamb is then rolled to form its original shape with the shank on,but with no centre bone looks like a full leg of lamb but is incredible easy to carve. We then marinade it in our incredibly balanced and well matched Rosemary and mint marinade.
This is a must for a family gathering, Ideal for Easter and a great alternative or addition to
the finest Christmas lunch.
To roast pre-heat oven to 180°C/Gas mark 4-5.
Medium: 20-25 minutes per 450g plus 20 minutes.
Well done: 30-35 minutes per 450g plus 30 minutes.
After the roast comes out of the oven, cover it with foil and allow to rest for at least 10-15 minutes. This allows the meat to relax, making it more succulent and easier to carve.
