Our very finest fillet of Scotch beef. Extra matured and fully trimmed with the tail and head removed. Ideal for cutting into steaks, roasting and, of course, the essential ingredient for Beef Wellington.

Our barrel of fillet or fillet log takes fillet to a new level.
Selected from only the very finest Scotch beef that has been carefully aged on the bone for a minimum of 21 days. Due to this maturing the outside may become dark or brownish – please don't be put off. This is the sign of an extra special tender and full of flavour fillet.
Either roast as a piece, cut in to steaks or use as the key ingredient for Beef Wellington.
You'll not get finer beef fillet than this.
Suitable for freezing.
Freeze on day of receiving product.
Frozen shelf life – 3 months.

Vacuum Pack Shelf Life – as per label.
When defrosting, allow 24 hours under refrigerated conditions. We recommend defrosting in original packaging.
Please wash hands after handling raw meat.
If roasting, brown fillet on all sides in a little oil. Preheat oven to 200C/GM 5 and roast for 15 minutes per 455g/1lb. Allow to rest covered with foil.
If using for Beef Wellington, sear on all sides until fully browned. Allow to cool before wrapping in pastry.
