Our award winning version of the traditional haggis has won all of the major haggis awards. Our haggis is made with lamb offal carefully blended with Scottish oatmeal and herbs and spices. Description
Our Haggis has been created with passion and dedication by Nigel over 20 years. The hard work paid off when in 2015 McCaskie's won 2015/16 West Of Scotland Champion and then National Champion at the Craft butchers Haggis competition. Since then our haggis has won two golden haggis awards and 4 peoples choice awards at the Haggis festival in Oban over the last 4 years. 2017/18 West Of Scotland Champion and 2019/20 West of Scotland Champion and Reserve Champion. Our haggis is rich and creamy, with a good level of spice. And with our bairn haggis-our baby haggis, small in size big on everything else.
Cooking Tips
COOKING INSTRUCTIONS: Cut into small slices and Fry or Grill for 2 minutes each side. or Remove from the casing and microwave in a suitable container covered with cling film on full power for 3 minutes, remove film stir and stand for a couple of minutes. or place the bairn haggis in boiling water,reduce to a simmer and allow 30 minutes cooking.
