This exceptional steak has only recently gained status as a delicious quick cooking steak. In the past this steak, from the featherblade, would have found its way into a traditional steak pie, casseroles and mince. However, it's popularity is well worthy as the flat iron delivers an exceptionally full flavoured steak and it is incredibly tender. Delicious fried or on the BBQ then cut into thin slices for a steak sandwich. It is a very economical steak and if described with one word AWESOME!
