It gives me great pleasure to come up with new products for our customers and enter the Scottish Craft Butcher Awards. It gives even more pleasure when I find out we won the top Diamond Award!
Out of hundreds of entries for the 2019 Make It With Pork Awards and our Pork Fillet En-Croute did the job. We’re so excited that it is officially the best pork product in Scotland! (We also got 3 golds and 2 silvers).
I’m immensely proud of this achievement. These awards are a real testing ground for butchers’ products and to come out as the best in Scotland is an absolute thrill.
This extra special pork product is specially crafted using succulent Scottish pork fillet which sits on a bed of our award winning black pudding together with a cream cheese and mushroom combination. Parma ham tops it off before it’s encased in light pastry. It’s an oven-ready product which makes it really quick and easy to prepare. Just pop it in the oven and enjoy!
