Brisket now making a return in popularity. Brisket rolled or left flat is ideal for slow pot roasting or in the slow cooker and now a BBQ Smoker favourite.
Description
The brisket lies at the bottom of the shoulder. Our butchers fully trim it and is available flat or rolled. As it comes from the front of the animal its does a lot of work and does require long slow cooking. Why not try our brisket with a sticky brisket sauce in the slow cooked and do pulled beef. Brisket is an excellent choice of roast.
Cooking Tips
Remove all packaging and allow brisket to 'bloom' for 10-15 minutes. Pot Roast or Slow Roast in a preheated oven at 180C/GM4-5 for 35 minutes per 450g plus an extra 30-40 minutes.
