A visit to McCaskies Bistro is a welcome change from the caravan site, closeby easy to get to (a lovely walk down th ehill on a summers evening) and a nice treat to 'eat out' a few times a week
Many caravan owners and leasers visit McCaskies regularly for a variety of reasons including a tea or coffee and some home made baking, a breakfast, light lunch or indeed a high tea (till 6.30 on Friday and Saturday).
Previously called the Seaview Cafe McCaskies was refurbished in 2012 and now provides a modern comfortable eatery and snack location for caravan park visitors.
As they serve food all day the cafe/bistro/restaurant is a popular retreat for all the family. They have a range of menus covering brekfast, light lunch, high teas, meals, snacks and a special kids menu.
The cafe does a grant range of teas, coffees and soft drinks providing the best in designer coffees which are so popular at the likes of Starbucks or Costa. McCaskies have their own coffee machines and do wide range or lattes or macchiatto to suit all coffee tastes.
Or if tea is your thing (it is the most poplar drink in the world contrary to many people’s beliefs) then McCaskies stock arrange of the finest teas.
On the long hot summers days, for which the west Coast of Scotland is reknowned, you can also treat your self to a cool beer as the premised has is licenced.
The bistro is home to the popular wine evenings which are held throughout the year at the McCaskies Wine Club.
